Each square is slightly bent back so the light hits/reflects differently. Cover the line, they look the same. Cool! Loading... Reply
It’s logical! Once the finger hides the darkest and lighter shades then the colour is the same. Both squares are exactly the same colour apart from the middle. Loading... Reply
Well the digital colour meter on my Mac says that both squares are exactly the same colour! RGB values of 156 156 156 ! Loading... Reply
It definitely does. Pretty cool. My guess is that once the line is obscured, your eyes automatically blend the colours into one. Just a guess. Fun. Loading... Reply

Or the top is bent and the bottom isn’t. Bottom line, it’s cool.
