Towards the end of summer, there tend to be more farmers’ markets, harvest festivals, and end-of-summer parties.
Our neighbourhood has a three-day festival on the third weekend of August each year. It takes place over several blocks, and consists of a giant flea market, a craft market, a farmers’ market a small funfair, a food festival and a music festival. We went twice over the past weekend to eat, and I bought a sweater and a ring at the flea market.
I have not bought jewellery for quite a while but I fell in love with this ring.

I loved these dresses. They were both in sugary shades and are the style I like. I have enough dresses though, particularly in a country where summer is so short.
