It’s not just you because I lift and peel back only to find the lift and peel film comes off leaving the seal behind.
No, it’s not just you, Janet. Packaging has gotten out of control and it’s now nearly impossible to get to the product without using scissors and/or various utility knives, pliers, and wrenches. It’s as if the manufacturers are paying zero attention to the customer experience. This form of packaging (and others of a similar nature) are now common with soups, beverages, condiments, and other things. Soon, I suspect, someone is going to be selling a “food opening kit of tools.” Frustrating!
