Gorgeous Binder on Etsy this week

I think with Filofax itself moving away from its core market and into ill-advised high fashion collaborations, the core market will take on the ‘Filofaxers, doing it for themselves‘ motto and increasingly customise and create their own binders.

This is not a Filofax binder and does not have Filofax rings but could be made with a filofax ring set which are easily available for purchase on Etsy. EDITED TO ADD: Steve Morton of Philofaxy has let me know that it should be compatible with Filofax personal size. Thank you Steve!

I think these binders are stunning, particularly the green one. They are all made by kikosattic – she does not use a machine in her work so every stitch is done by hand. She had another one for sale a while ago which was in stunning violet croco-print lined with mint-green. Each scale had been carved by hand. What a work of art it was!

She also does custom orders and has almost 5000 admirers on Etsy so she is very popular!

I see this green one has now been sold. I do hope it went to a lovely Filofax lover who found it on here and fell in love with it! I imagine it being loved and providing many years of stalwart service 🙂
