Nivea Soft

When I was growing up, we always had a blue tin of Nivea Creme somewhere. It went on bodies and faces. About fifteen years ago, a friend of mine recommended Nivea Soft to me. She used it on her face, hands, and body.  I love it for use as a body cream and recently bought myself a new pot. My lovely reader Eva told me a while back that the formula is now vegan and does not quite feel the same. It still works nicely on my skin though.

I have been working hard for many months at finishing all the body lotion I already had (I tend to have several bottles on the go at the same time, plus a small stockpile), so this was a treat to myself because I have finally worked through them all.

You can see from the pot that many Swedish stores import this product from other countries. There is usually a sticker on the bottom translating the information into Swedish.

  1. I am also not far from finishing my last ever non-vegan pot and I’m not quite sure what to do with myself… There is another type of Nivea that is called Nivea care and it comes in a purple and white pot. So far, I have never seen any pesky green label announcing its “veganness”, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s going to be good and remain non-vegan!
