A runestone in the countryside

For me, there is nothing more beautiful than wild flowers growing in a meadow
I am not sure what this is but it was near a church
I have been wearing these earrings lately. They belonged to my grandmother and are from around 1916. I believed that they were rolled gold, but they are actually 5K gold. I had no idea there was ever a recognised carat below 8K but apparently there is.
We had a barbecue/braai on our deck the other day. I had a glass of wine, which is my limit. I love a single glass of wine, cider or champagne but it goes to my head very quickly. I take medicine that should not be combined with alcohol so I have a single drink perhaps twice a year – New Year and my birthday. My husband does not drink alcohol.
