I much prefer moissanite over cubic zirconia jewellery. Moissanite is almost as hard as diamond, and very sparkly. Like lab diamonds, the price has dropped significantly as more have come onto the market. Moissanite can test as diamond on a diamond tester, but there are more sophisticated testers that can distinguish the two.

I have some lovely sparkly moissanite and sterling silver jewellery that I wear when I want some bling or as travel sets. Almost all of it comes from AnuJewel who trades on AliExpress and Amazon. Their stones are magnificent, even in the larger sizes, and their gold plating really wears well. I pay about $40 to $60 per ring and have collected some nice ones over the years. I really do wear them a great deal.
I keep them in a sparkly, fun jewel box. Among these is one less-blingy lab diamond and sterling silver ring (bottom right) that I wear as a travel set when I go to South Africa. My favourite is second up from bottom right – an art-deco style moissanite and sterling silver ring.
This rather disappointing video was taken at night but you can see some of the sparkle.

Moissanite is my stone of choice when a natural diamond is too costly and something I mention to all my customers as an option if they are thinking of diamonds
Moissanites are lovely. Much better in my opinion than white topaz. I only have one lab diamond ring but I actually prefer the double refraction of the Moissie.
