Van der Spek Touch Me Codex Standard Mega Cover in Noir

The first ever brand new Van der Spek product I bought was a Touch Me ring binder in personal size. I have since had Touch Me binders in several sizes and colours and consider them to be fantastic value for money. The design is brilliant and they are ready-to-ship. If you are looking to make your first VDS purchase and find the custom options daunting or too expensive, I would recommend the Touch Me range.

The newest addition to the Touch me family is the Touch Me Codex Standard Mega, which fits the Hobonichi Weeks and Hobonichi Weeks Mega. This is what the VDS site says about them

I have been using a Hobonichi Weeks for 6 months now, to track my decluttering and sales progress. It has worked magnificently well. I have it in a custom Van der Spek cover made of undyed Janet Leather. I have just bought a 2023 Hobonichi Weeks to continue this progress. So I was delighted when Petra asked if I would like to review the new Touch Me Codex cover. I chose it in Noir (black).

It arrived yesterday and I am thrilled! Petra kindly let me know that there were no pebbly covers left (she knows I like pebbles), but I think this is lovely. I chose black because it usually does not show marks or wear and would be different from the undyed leather I am using now, which marks very easily.

As with all Touch Me products, this one is really well designed. The full length back pocket, the zippered pocket, and the secretarial pocket have proven the most useful to me in the Codex cover I have, because they have allowed me to keep bits of paper and receipts safe and close to hand if necessary. I cannot wait to put my 2023 Weeks into it and start planning. If you have never used a Weeks, and you are looking for something light and compact yet full of different calendars and pages, the Weeks is perfect!

I will do a set up post once my Weeks arrives.

Excuse the feet!
