I found this leather handbag charm at & Other Stories, at 70% discount. I may not use the cat part, but I love the tassel

These candlesticks were really striking in real life. I wish I knew someone whose decor they would suit. Nordic interiors are very minimal but sometimes this kind of detail really makes things pop.

When I spotted these pins, it reminded me of my kilt pins when I was young. I had a Scottish grandmother, plus it was very much the style way back when. I have not seen a kilt pin in ages. I wonder where you would pin these? You don’t see nappy pins either these days.

These really tickled me. I used to have a watch strap like this in the 1970s, which is when this display is from.

One of our local lions has gained a pink tongue. They do sometimes, courtesy of our local street artist, Arrow Street Art. These additions are removable, and it is rather fun to spot them around town. .

Last week I stopped to compliment someone on their candy-striped sleeveless shirtdress covered in cranes (?). Today I spotted one at a street market. It was handmade by the store owner

She had other handmade dresses in cool prints

…plus chunky statement jewellery to match. I wish I had access to these when I was a young teacher of children. They would have loved them.
