I received a bookshop gift voucher as a summer gift from my students, so I bought books by my favourite authors of the year.
The first two are the second and third Jake Jackson novels by Stig Abell. I LOVED the first one. The third one in the series was not available, so I bought the second Matthew Venn novel by Ann Cleeves.
What a luxury to be able to buy brand new books by my favourite authors!
I also found these at a charity shop. Lisa Jewell novels are very readable, and whenever I see one I buy it because I know what I will be getting. JP Delaney I have not read yet but the premise of the book looks promising.
