I normally wear my hair half-up, half-down, using a scrunchie to tie part of my hair up. This keep my face free when I teach but also gives me the less severe option of having some hair down. I look quite strict when I wear a bun.

The problem with this type of gift article nowadays, is that you never know what brand they actually are. Unless they are stamped or have a label showing a brand or details, they could come from anywhere. Gift shops usually use a local distributor, who has scouted items from other countries (for example China). Many of the prettiest claws/clips I found were available under different names in many different countries. So what I do is to do a google image search and see if they are available locally.
