Now that summer is here and I am wearing light-coloured clothing, I battled to find a bag that suited my days. I like using pale bags in summer but they tend to mark and look quite shabby quickly, so I don’t use leather or anything expensive.
I wanted something that was not too heavy or big, and had enough pockets to keep me organised. I have had a couple of incidents recently where I forgot my phone, planner and /or keys (tags) at home when I rushed off to work.
This is a Kipling Gabbie in Medium size. I bought it new with tags for less than half price on Sweden’s eBay. I was not able to choose the colour as this was the only one on the whole site, but I am very happy with it. It is a light grey and it matches the grey ballet flats I am wearing for summer. If I really like it I may buy one in black for winter, if I can find one cheaply.
So far I am really liking it. It has a pen holder, and pockets to keep things separated but still close at hand. I do not need a separate makeup bag or pen case because there are pockets for that. It is light too, even fully packed. It easily holds my planner and A4 work papers folded in half.
The Gabbie comes in small and mini. I rather like the small but it would not suit me for work as I carry a bottle of water, a light cardigan and a planner with me.
This is the same model though with a different monkey charm.

I love the Kipling Gabbie! I have the small one and it fits so much, but you are right, the small one would be too small to fit in a bottle, even a small one. The one you got is the perfect size for your needs! I also wanted to add that I had never been a fan of tassels but seeing that pink one of yours on so many posts made me change my mind! I love how you move it from bag to bag. I usually buy a new charm for each new bag that I get. I may try and find a charm that I can use in all my bags instead!
I love that tassel. I have had it since 2020 and I move it from bag to bag because I love the way it feels. It is also quite simple, unlike many bag charms. I am really loving the Gabbie. Maybe I have finally found my one.
