Waddesdon Manor wedding cake pavilion by Joana Vasconcelos

A Portuguese artist, Joana Vasconcelos, has created a 12m/39ft high pavilion in the shape of a three-tiered wedding cake. You can find it at Waddesdon Manor in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. A steel frame is covered with almost 30,000 Portuguese ceramic tiles in the colours of the famous Sèvres porcelain in the collection at Waddesdon Manor. The pavilion was commissioned by the custodian of Waddesdon Manor, Jacob, 4th Baron Rothschild.
