Van Der Spek Traveler’s Notebooks – six months in the making!

When Steve and I went to Van Der Spek in October of last year, one of the tasks on our to do lists (neatly written in our organizers of course!) was to talk about new products and new leathers.

I took with me my:

The undyed leather arrived while we were there and I gave it a two thumbs up after double checking that it was the same as the Zenok and the Hobonichi leather.

Since we were at Van Der Spek in October, Janet leather, Undyed leather and Hobonichi covers have been introduced to the range. So now it is – traveler’s notebooks!

I can recognize my inserts by the heart shaped paperclip!

  1. Thanks Janet for yet another wonderful insight into these great planner/journal products. I love these refined products of the VDS-family-business and wish them many happy returns of their lovely efforts to provide the best TN that I have seen until today.

  2. Any idea when these will be available on their website? Also, will a F/N size be available. They look so refined!

  3. This to me looks like the perfect marriage between a Filofax Flex and an MTN, darn VDS for coming up with another lovely looking product to go on my wishlist! 😉

    1. I don’t have a VDS yet but I have at least 6 other types of Traveler’s notebooks made by different people and have never had that problem. The elastics are nice and tight (the leather bends up a bit when there is no paper in it) so the books are nice and firmly seated.
