Ah, serial ports/com ports I don’t miss you…or crawling around under people’s desks to plug in all their peripherals. I remember setting printers up for WordPerfect 5.1 using the COM1 or COM2 port.
I remember the old days when I started in IT support (after switching from accounting) crawling under desks, plugging in cables and then installing software to get them to work. So much easier now, just find the correct wireless key to input and connect everything up to the broadband hub wirelessly and away you go.
RS-232C: pins 2,3 and 7. That is all.
