Yesterday was the first big outing for Undyed Binder Zero. It was raining and I was using my Filofax Charleston handbag which has a black lining. It was in my bag with my keys, pens and wet umbrella.
The kind of life I lead and the kind of job I have I cannot baby my bags or my binders. I counted today and I took the binder out of my bag sixteen times. This would be far more complicated if I used a dust bag. Particularly as I use it as a wallet.
At the end of the day it did have a mark or two but I can see that it is going to develop a gorgeous patina.
Two people spontaneously commented on it. My first student of the day and the woman who served me when I was buying lunch.

Janet, does this planner have a stiffener?
It has Bontex in it 🙂
The Charleston bag is stunning. I regret they don’t make them any more. They were so great for carrying files, books and planners. I wish l had bought one when they were still making them.
How long have you had yours, Janet?
About a year I think. Gorgeous and very light plus very well designed – three compartments and lots of little pockets and pouches. I love it! I got it from bouteia on eBay for about €90.
Such beautiful combo. Tempted to order the same! But will wait for a few weeks until you finish your experiment!
Thanks for doing that!
