Swedes really love their liquorice. I have never been a liquorice fan. I like Liquorice Allsorts though.
This made me think of Dirty Dancing!
When I saw this I thought of my grandmothers, who both used the word lav (short for lavatory) for toilet. As in go to the lav before we go.
Their toilets had chains, so they used to talk about pulling the chain when you were done. Pulling your chain was also used to mean joking with you.
On the escalator from the train, someone tapped me on the shoulder and told me they liked my sneakers. I was so happy. I like pink sneakers but these are more dusty pink than I normally wear. I often compliment people if I like their hair or item of clothing. I am sure some people think I am weird, but whenever it happens to me I float on a cloud all day so I hope I cheer some people up.
