If you have seen the following image going viral on social media or in newspapers recently, it will probably not have been credited.
This image is by the fantastically talented Eleanor Tomlinson, who has also created the following gems
Sadly, with the loss of the Queen, a number of unscrupulous (or ignorant) people have been SELLING these images. I don’t blame Eleanor for being angry. She is always so lovely to people on social media who want to share her image with credit.
particularly as she has been so respectful in her own actions regarding these images.
I feel bad for this amazing talent being exploited at this sad time, so I went to Eleanor’s site and made a purchase (which I was planning to anyway). She does calendars and weekly planners. Now if I can just persuade her to make inserts for ringed organisers!
I hope she changes her mind about selling her art. Her art will be sold with or without her consent. She should be paid rather than the pirates.
I have seen some of these images recently on Twitter and it is such a shame that no credit is being given. Theft is theft regardless of what is being stolen and thank you for pointing out who it was who created these iconic images.
I had no idea Eleonor made these lovely lovely pictures. And it is horrible that other people are trying to take her hard work as their own. She deserves all the recognition and sales of her marvellous work!
