  1. This was interesting enough for me to look up how much £450 would be today:
“£450 in 1969 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £9,282.55 today, an increase of £8,832.55 over 55 years. The pound had an average inflation rate of 5.66% per year between 1969 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 1,962.79%.”
(From https://www.in2013dollars.com/uk/inflation/1969 I have no idea if this is accurate)

    The Troggs would be
“£200 in 1969 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £4,125.58 today”

And Carley Hill at the lowest end still not too bad:
“£45 in 1969 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £928.26 today”

    Googling the 1969 exchange rate, £1 = $2.40 USD
So in 1969 UK£450 = USD$1080 (!) and today, the exchange would be: $1,080 in 1969 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $9,191.24 in 2024.
    So The Troggs at £200 = $480 in 1969 & is $4,085.00 today.
    Carley Hill £45 = $108 in 1969 & would be $919.12 now.

Doesn’t seem too strange, really. They don’t seem to be booking, like, huge arena shows. Very interesting, though! Also, that management service’s typewriter needed service!
