I love the glorious jewellery of Australia-based Millie Savage. She takes traditional hearts, stars, pear-shapes, cluster rings, crown rings, daisy rings, stacking rings, wedding sets, engagement rings, claddaghs and turns them into flowing shapes and unusual proportions. Some colours are bright, some are pastel, some are pearly. There are opals, pearls, jammy garnets and sparkling diamonds. Some shapes are traditional with a little twist, others are pure whimsy, the stuff of dreams. Millie’s website and Instagram feed is like a topsy turvy Alice in Wonderland cornucopia filled with small pieces of magic tumbling every which way.
Millie does both custom and ready to ship designs. There are often sales and specials. The Instagram alone is a sweet treat for me every single day.
