You know when something gets as comfortable as old shoes?

I didn’t arrange this or anything. I opened it up to take something out and realized it is wearing in and sprouting things out of all the pockets. I know where everything is, they are snug but I can get them out easily and the marks and scuffs show that it is forming itself to me and my life.

I often have things that I use so much that I cannot imagine ever using anything else when they wear out. Shoes and wallets for example. I think this planner is going to be one of those things!

  1. Janet, I know exactly what you mean. My red Winchester has become some sort of organic extension of myself, and the use and contents are as familiar to me as the back of my own hand. The planner is in something of a perpetual state of disorder, but functions so well. It is overstuffed; particularly problematic are a stack of business cards tucked into a Dayrunner plastic slash pocket insert inside the front cover, but I need them. I don’t use mine as a wallet but do keep some backup credit cards in there.
