Well, the red Kensington is more pink than red and the bottle green is more forest green than bottle green but oh these binders are gorgeous.
If I had to use one model for the rest of my life, this would be it.
- Very well designed for use as a wallet – a flap for notes, a zipped pocket for coins, lots of horizontal credit card slots.
- Gorgeous soft leather – I don’t usually go crazy for soft leather but this is extraordinary. Soft and squishy and very huggable. At the same time it is not delicate or floppy and will wear well.
- Light – when you carry a binder everywhere and use it intensively as a wallet AND organizer it is going to be solid. So the lighter the binder the better.
- Cheap – these go for between €10 and €36 on eBay, shipping excluded. Shipping is usually about €12
I love it. It lays flat and wraps around the contents like a hug. The rings are tight as drums and from the older generation where they did not give trouble.
It is very very dark in Sweden at this time of year so the photos are not the best. I have put the green one beside the black one for comparison in one photo.
I want to thank Anita for helping me buy this baby. I had loved this model on the Mayfair Stationers website for months but they did not ship outside the UK. Anita ordered it and send it on to me in Sweden. I am so very grateful, Anita. Thank you!
Janet, reading your second sentence at the beginning of this post, you know that you couldn’t stick to one. You have an itchy “Buy Me Now” finger, which is what makes this blog so good!
Ha ha yes I do indeed!
Looks like a lovely binder, bottle green is so nice.
You’re very welcome & it was a pleasure, Janet!
According to the website, the colour is bottle green. If I didn’t already have my black one, I would definitely have got myself one 🙂
Thank you Anita – will edit!
