Using at the moment: Black Personal Kensington

Gorgeous leather - soft but tough.

At the moment I am using this binder. I used my purple Mia Cara for months and months but then I went away and took my Filofax Bromley travel wallet to hold just the inserts I need. When I came back I had an enormous translation to do so would be in one place rather than running around all day every day.  I couldn’t decide what to use so moved into my go-to binder – my black Kensington.

Oh I love this. It was cheap, is soft yet strong, perfectly designed for use as a wallet, light and fits so nicely around the contents. I don’t usually use black binders but this is just perfect.

The ladybird charm came from Etsy
The ladybird charm came from Etsy. I have never been one for Filofax charms but this one has been on my rings for ages and it never gets caught or anything. I like fiddling with it while I am trying to think.
The ladybug bookmark was from Ashley and the divider is from Courtney - both RAKs. My most used credit cards are at the front and my paper money is in the slit pocket below

I am doing a lot of intensive work at the moment. A few weeks are taken up by intensive parliament groups. This means that instead of having seven different students a day I teach the same ones every day for a week - in the same place. Bliss! I always use these vertical week on two pages for my schedule because I can see the whole week at a glance.

I have fold out maps and a map book because I often brief clients for visits to and from other countries. So the maps are always useful

At the back is a gussetted zipper pocket for my spare keys, coins, usb stick and little trolley keys for the supermarket. In clear plastic holders are all my least sued cards. These are rather funny as one is in each of my names. My maiden name is Carr and my married names have been Thompson and Comerford.

    1. Yes I do. I need to have an overview of my schedule to see that my days don’t end up too long so I use the vertical ones for that because you can see it at a glance. And then I use the horizontal ones for daily reminders.
