Artëmer engagement rings

I saw a beautiful Artëmer engagement ring a few weeks ago. Of course I had to have a look at the website during my coffee break. I love rings. I do wear other types of jewellery but rings have always been my passion. I wonder who looked at their fingers thousands of years ago and thought it was a good idea to ornament them.

  1. I really enjoyed this roundup! Artëmer’s designs have such a distinctive artistic style, especially the unique cluster settings and geometric details. It’s refreshing to see engagement rings that don’t all look the same. For anyone who enjoys exploring different wedding band and engagement ring styles, I’ve also found some beautiful inspiration at https://www.gwbands.com/. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pieces!

  2. It makes sad that nowadays I don’t want to support Israeli business… Even though these designs are gorgeous

    1. It is really difficult isn’t it? I have a Russian friend (very anti-Putin) who is excellent at a particular sport. They were banned from all international events after the Russo-Ukraine war started. I am sad that they are being punished because of a situation they hate more than I do, but I totally understand that bans, sanctions and boycotts are often the only way to force change.

      1. Yes, it’s a situation where both things can be true at the same time. And punishing through boycotts, bans etc is an effective way of saying “we don’t agree with what the government you chose (to an extent) is doing, so if you want our business, make it stop”. Not ideal either is it…

      2. And diplomatic relations and world power means that certain countries are handled with kid gloves (looking at you China) while others are not.

      3. As individuals, what are we supposed to do though? I find myself spiraling when I think about the current affairs…

      4. To be honest, me too. The utter moral corruption of our world and some becoming trillionaires while others starve was giving me sleepless nights for a while.
The world seems to be on fire everywhere with no end in sight. One decision by a crazy world leader can send everything spiralling and affect innocent people so badly while those in power aren’t impacted at all. What I have done since Russia-Ukraine started (I live in a country not so far away) is just look inward to my little life with my little family. I read a lot (paper books), drink my tea, go for long walks, play with the cats, and buy local/secondhand as far as possible. I support animal charities and have turned off all of the news push notifications on my phone (the constant bad news was affecting me mentally). It may not be the right thing to do, or the right thing for other people, but it has really helped me. When I was young I was a passionate activist. Now I am just tired.

      5. I have a very similar approach, I’m focusing on the ultra local, making sure I’m a good actor in my community (spending locally, not over consuming, buying second hand, showing up for my neighbors, taking part in local events etc). Sometimes my privilege is overwhelming in that sense. I think boycotts make me feel like I have an impact beyond my privileged local life. Your blog helps because it inspires me to keep a gentle outlook on my surroundings and to remain curious and always seek to learn new things ❤️

      6. It sounds like you are doing all you can while still looking after your peace. I am glad my blog helps.

My husband and I are volunteers for our apartment complex bomb shelters. We two big shelters for the 263 apartments, and we are part of a team that keeps them in constant readiness (eg stores of fresh water, functioning equipment). We had originally decided to stay put in our apartment because animals were not allowed to shelter. The law has now been changed so animals can be evacuated as well and that is what I want to work with – readiness for pets and to make sure people know what to stock up on and have ready for their pets. I feel a little better knowing I am at least doing something that does not overwhelm me or make me feel conflicted.

      7. Oh that’s an awesome cause to give time too, and as you say a great effort to focus one. I’m glad you found that!
