White Helmetshrikes (found in sub-Saharan Africa) have eyes that look like sunflowers.
The hyrax (called a dassie in South Africa) is the closest living relative of the Afrian elephant. It looks like a large rodent but the close evolutionary relationship is deduced from similarities in the structure of the feet and teeth.
So if my cat, Samantha, lives 4 more years she’ll be 88 human years as will I.
