Reddit user Mc_Tater recently made some posts about her great-grandmother’s jewellery on the r/jewelry subreddit. I am in awe. It is so nice when items like this are kept and passed down through the family. My maternal grandmother left me all her jewellery as I was the oldest granddaughter. When I die, that jewellery is going back to my family in South Africa, to be divided among the daughters. It is nothing at all like this though, which is spectacular.
