I was taught to read from a very early age (3 years old) by my older cousin, this introduced me to magical worlds, new experiences and I still have an active imagination today. I tried teaching my children to read before they started school but their mothers decided it was better to sit them down in front of the tv and get on with their days. I can only hope that the children they were and the parents they become have learned more from me than their mothers.
