I have wanted one of these small lion statues for ages, but they are quite pricey. I found this one at a charity shop for $5. It is the medium version (they come in S, M, and L). I am thrilled because I am so fond of these lions, and see at least twenty of them every day.
Årfelt’s lions have been in the city of Stockholm for a long time, protecting roads and streets. After the 2017 terror attack, we now have 3-ton versions protecting vulnerable areas.
These behemoths replaced the 900kg versions, several of which were hit and damaged during the terror attack.
