Many years ago, I spotted a big puffy gold knot ring in a jewellery store window. I went in to try it on, imagining it would be hollow gold-plated sterling silver and a reasonable price. Well, it turned out to be an Engelbert Absolutely Knot 18k gold ring, and the cheapest one they had cost $5 000. The one I liked cost $8 000.
Welp, I realised one of those would NEVER be in my future, so I hunted for some alternatives. I found the one below by the brand Sophie by Sophie. It was cheaper, but still cost over $200 for gold-plated brass. Too rich for my blood.
I have found several solid silver big knot rings at decent prices, but ultimately settled for this Edblad Redondo ring, priced $25 on sale. It is comfortable and has worn very well.
