An adult male deer can weigh up to 300 pounds while a female can weigh up to 125 pounds. So if you put them against the world’s smallest deer, they would look like giants.
The Java mouse-deer, also known as the tragulus javanicus, weighs just 4 pounds (1.8 kg) and looks more like a mouse.
They are a species of even-toed ungulate in the family Tragulidae and are usually found in tropical forest regions of Southeast Asia. Their habitats are usually around rocks, hollow trees, and dense forests near water. Because of their minuscule size, one can easily mistake them for a mouse.
The deer also happens to be the smallest hoofed animal in the world (source)
