Calling all Pennybridge Owners – a question

The Journey was a binder only available in Sweden. Somewhere along the line it was relaunched internationally as the Pennybridge (I thought). But I cannot find a Pennybridge that looks like the ones they sell here. Are they all zipped?

The Swedish Journey looked like this:

It is now called the Pennybridge and looks the same. Here it is in pocket size

Do some of the ones available internationally look like this or are they all zipped?

  1. Unfortunately it is not familiar to me. I wonder if we ever got it here. We live in a small place and lost our only Filofax stockist so have to get supplies from Toronto or the US (Maine).

  2. The Pennybridge most of us know and us is all zipped with 15mm compact rings, the layout is the same as the Compact Malden Zip, except it’s not in leather.

    1. Thanks Steve. Strangely, every time people talked about their Pennybridges I imagined this model. Now I look at the photos of the zipped ones, I see they are totally different from what I had been imagining all these years. And I don’t even know if you can buy them here.

  3. I’ve only seen the zipped ones on the FF UK site and in stores (UK) I’ve never seen one that looks the one pictured above. I prefer the one above to the normal zipped version I’ve seen though. The only thing that puts me off the Pennybridge is that it’s not real leather.
