This advertising juxtaposition on the underground was very poignant. On the top is a poster for UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), which states ‘some live to travel, others travel to live’. The sandal is reminiscent of the drowning of Alan Kurdi in 2015. Someone has torn the poster, revealing a bright, brash ad for a local cellular network, Comvig.
