Body Shop Velvet Fig and Pistachio (and Dewberry) series

The Body Shop went bankrupt in Sweden, but former employees and executives acquired the rights to relaunch the brand. There are now two stores in Stockholm, one near where I live, and I pop in now and then to stock up on shower gel. Sometimes I treat myself to body butter as well, though at the moment I am working my way through my Biotherm Oil Therapy Moisturizing Body Lotions.

I bought the Velvet Fig and Pistachio last week, and it smells really nice. The body moisturiser (which I tested) is a ‘whipped’ body butter and has a lovely light texture.

I was tickled to see that Dewberry is back. When I was young, EVERYBODY wanted Dewberry. There were no Body Shops in South Africa so you would hope someone would bring you some when they went to the UK to visit family. Anyone who was anyone in the gym changing rooms reeked of Dewberry. They had this large awkwardly shaped soap bar that I would use until it was the size of a pea.

I also want to thank lovely reader Dawn for offering to ship me Body Shop products from the UK after they went bankrupt. You will never know how much your offer meant to me.
