Granny Smith and Red Delicious for me. I hate floury apples – they must be crisp.
I also love custard apples but I am not sure if they are actually an apple. They aren’t crispy. The almost-white coloured flesh has a consistency similar to a ripe pear matched with a subtle, creamy, custard-like taste.
