My husband gave me a Tiffany bracelet last year for my 50th birthday and every time he goes to New York he gets me a charm. I have always wanted something from Tiffany and the charms and bracelets in sterling silver are the most inexpensive.
The charms fasten by a jump ring or a lobster clasp but they will also solder them on for you in the shop. This is the safest option but also permanent so you do not have the option of swapping charms around.
I have at the moment a disk charms plus a lockable padlock and a heart. The heart disk is soldered on, the round disk has a lobster clasp and the packlock locks and unlocks.
You can of course add other types of charms to this bracelet. Bear in mind though that one like the one I have has very heavy thick links so tiny clasps may not fit.
Note: this is a repost of an old article. I am now 52 and I no longer have a husband. He is my best friend instead!
Janet, l have the same Tiffany bracelet with the heart and disk, both soldered on. I’ve had it since 2000 and l wear it almost every day with my Tiffany silver rings and necklace. Though they are cheap, they are very good quality jewels and are still shiny after so many years of use.
Do you own Tiffany silver rings too?
Yes I do but I don’t wear them as my rings tend to be in rose gold and a silver ring with them looks odd. I also wear the Tiffany charms as pendants on thin silver chains.
