A day

Sweden often shortens the word assistant or assorted as ass. I have been helped in shops by a Sales Ass or two. And ass cookies don’t sound as delicious as they could.

I like finding hearts in random places. This one made me see beauty in a grimy urban setting

A couple of weeks ago it was 14 years since I jumped the highest bungy jump in the world – 216 metres/708 feet. I probably wouldn’t do it again but it was an incredible experience.

I saw a comment on an old Guns N’ Roses interview where Axl Rose was drinking Coca Cola. Younger fans were wondering why it was not Red Bull, and were flabbergasted to hear that it did not exist then. I almost never drink them because coffee usually works for me, but the names are interesting – Red Bull, Monster, Gorilla Mind…

These were at a local store. I guess this appeals to the target audience.

Urban Decay used to have ‘edgy’ names for their products, though this one did not go down well.

My teenage drink of choice was called Groovy

  1. As someone who has drunk a double espresso in France while waiting to board a cross-channel ferry (and promptly fallen asleep straight after finishing it) I can attest to non-caffeinated drinks bouncing me off the walls.
