I have a friend in the police force who always travels with PacSafe travel bags. They are cut-proof and have ingenious locking devices that mean they cannot be opened or removed from a chair, for example. I have never found one that was my style and the right size. They are also pricey so it would be a real waste to buy something at that price point which was not quite right.
I stumbled upon these in Lidl today, for $7/€7 each. There were three styles. I liked the grey one but it was a little small to be my handbag and a little big to be a small crossbody travel bag. It did, however, have a compartment for medication. The black one was a perfect size and style though. You could carry phone, planner, medication, tissues, glasses, passport, with space to spare.
It has cut-proof straps, a carabiner to hold the zipper pulls together, and an RFID blocker. It is nice and wide so you can fit quite a bit in without it being bulky. I like the fact that it has a top handle.
This is the only handbag I have ever had that has an instruction manual!

Lidl also had packing cubes, something I have wanted to try for a long time. They are recommended so often by experienced travellers

It looks great! How sad that we need to resort to such measures… We didn’t use to have to do this before…
That sounds ideal for travelling in these troubling times.
