From a day

The clocks always go back one hour in Sweden on the last Saturday of October. This means we have an extra hour in bed in the morning, but also that the sun sets at about 4pm. Stockholm descends into permanent twilight until March or so, not helped by the constant cloud cover and rain. A couple of years ago we had 2.2 hours of sun in November. It was miserable!

On a walk around the old town on Saturday, I tried to cheer myself up by enjoying the cosiness, although I could do without all the Christmas things so early. The old town is really pretty.
