About one minute’s walk from our apartment lies Stockholm’s famous‘Thai Boat’, a boat/deck/beach restaurant that also has two speed boats and a Tuk Tuk, plus chefs flown in from Thailand. It is so well known that when giving directions to where we live, all that is necessary is to say turn left at the Thai boat and walk for 50 seconds.
The boat consists of…well…a boat, plus three huge outdoor decks and a beach. The chefs and all the staff are top in their trade and flown in from Thailand.
In winter the beach and decks have igloos which are nice and cosy. You receive robes if you are cold, and there are cosy rugs and skins if you need even more warmth. They are also COVID-friendly.
Our apartment is in the first block behind the boat.
