Snapshots from our new apartment

The cats settled in immediately. This is Ziggy
I took up most of the shoe space immediately!
The cats got a brand new cat tree and moved in immediately
We slid open the glass panes for the first time on Sunday. The cats can only go out onto the balcony when the glass is closed

We have a spectacular kitchen. Our previous ones were both very old. For the first time in my life, I have a dishwasher!
These two need a good clean and polish, but they have followed me on my travels since I was a teenager. My German grandfather made them by hand in 1920 and they are the only pieces of furniture that I have had in every single home I have had. One they are all cleaned up, I we will figure out what to put on it.
One of my printer’s trays in the kitchen, filled with the little Fimo animals I collect, and tiny mementoes from my travels.
My favourite kettle of all time. It is blue when it is busy boiling your water for you, you can set the temperature you want your water to be, or whether you want the kettle to keep your water warm. Once ready it beeps, and beeps again in a few minutes to remind you.
