When I was younger, we used to live on the Mojave desert. I used to love catching horny toads, the smaller the better. They are so much fun to play with.
I never thought I would say this of a reptile, but the baby horned lizard is cute!
This reminds me of salamanders that I would find around the yard after the rains; the salamanders I pick up look like teeny-tiny earthworms with legs – and they are so cute!!
