Many of my friends and family still think I live in Switzerland. And I have lived in Sweden for 19 years!
The conversation usually goes like this:
Friend: Do you speak Swiss?
Me: No
Friend: Why not?
Me: a) there is no such thing and
b)I DON’T LIVE IN SWITZERLAND!!!

There is indeed a language called Swissgerman
And Swiss French, and Swiss Italian I believe.
There are certain differences in Italian and French but Swissgerman is completely different a lot of Germans don‘t understand it and we have to switch to German, the language we also write
