Hobonichi and Midori in the Stockholm Old Town

I was wandering along the little labyrinth of narrow streets in Stockholm’s Old Town/Gamla Stan yesterday, when I spotted this in the window of a tiny knitting shop. I almost tripped over my feet getting inside!

They had

  • Midori brass rulers
  • Hobonichi Techo 2017
  • Blackwing pencils

and other interesting notebooks, stickers and stationery.

I was thrilled! I usually buy Hobonichis from Japan (though I know the Journal Shop in the UK has them), but this means I can pick one up in person and have it in my hands immediately.

I love the paper and the design of Hobonichi Techos (A6) and Cousins (A5). The Tomoe River paper means they are very very light, but fountain pen friendly

Also, some Midori. I didn't see any covers but I saw rulers!

Cute page markets, gorgeous Palomino Blackwing pencils and several different brands of notebook

If you are interested, the shop is called Makeri 14, and they have a webshop. Find the Hobonichis here. The owner is lovely and you can contact her via the site if you have any questions.
