A gorgeous Filofax Classic Mashup on eBay yesterday

This absolute beauty sold on eBay yesterday – it went in only a few hours and for a really good price! Because there were only 25 made of each of the two colourways, this was a real steal and, as they say, a unicorn!

I already have this version and am looking for the second of the two colourways, but I have never seen one!

I do know that if you are patient, all things will come in time. So don’t be despondent if you missed out on this one –  I am living proof that everything pops up sometime. Over the years I have managed to collect some true rarities.

I see so many people so desperate to find the flavour of the month that they a) become really upset if they lose out on something or b) pay huge sums for it when it does pop up. But what you want always pops up if you are patient. It’s hard I know – I am not the most patient person myself – and our society seems to want instant gratification. I know how frustrating even a ten-day wait for a parcel can be….but what you want will be all the more sweeter for the wait if it is really hard to find. Set a saved search and take your time. This is the third one that has popped up on my saved search in the last year, and my one was found for me by a wonderful member of our community.
