Start Bay notebook cover in dark brown vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather (the thickest and strongest type of leather). This is a simple piece of best-quality leather folded in half to hold up to four A5 notebooks.
There’s a lot to be said for the simplicity of a straightforward notebook, just paper held together with staples, with a card cover. If you want notes on lined paper and sketches on plain, though, you’ll be carrying two notebooks.
