This is my favorite Malden – it is very stiff and coarsely grained. So it is easy to use when writing on your knees or holding in your hand. The softer ones are too floppy for me as I seldom write on a hard surface.
The pocket configuration of this model is really nice for use as a wallet – the zipped pocket can be used for coins there are nice credit card slots and a place behind them for notes.
The rings on this one are tight as drums.
Hi ! Are you selling it ?
No, sadly. I love the texture too much.
This looks wonderfully well-loved! I am very fussy about leather binders, but I did buy a purple Maldon. I find I use it for keeping all my key bits of info and various cards in one place, rather than taking it out and about.
Janet, I also bought a black Malden from eBay seller and it wasn’t black but grey! Your Malden also looks grey and I am sure it is as the black is a jet black and is unmistakably black.
Ooh sorry to hear that Deborah – did you sent it back? No mine is definitely black – you can see the difference in my post which has pictures of both the black and the grey. It does definitely look greyish in these photos though but in real life it is pitch black. http://thisbugslife.com/2014/04/13/malden-magic/
