I went a little out of town the other day, and popped into a charity shop that has furniture. Some of the pieces are stunning, though I imagine not many people in the city have enough space to do them justice. Whenever I pop in here I wish I could rescue and restore so many of the items. My brother used to do this for his bric-à-brac shop.
This brought back memories of must-watch tv from the 1970s. One of my first crushes was Little Joe.

I found this little ornament for our cat whisker collection. The two parts are separate and I am thinking it is a toothpick dispenser.

Aaaaah…these books were a mixture of all languages, and arranged by colour. I didn’t even try!

My mom had several of these toasters over the years. Some of them were for four slices and they worked so well. This one must be more ornamental than anything else – look at that plug! The price was over $30, which seemed pretty high. It can (could?) only toast one slice at a time.

A sign of spring. We have just had a snowstorm and icy temperatures so I hope it survives.

I saw these in a bakery and thought they looked rather pretty. I am not sure I would like to eat one, particularly if marzipan is involved, but they look great.

‘Bonanza’ — loved that show, watching it with the kids. Looks like Harley likes his TV too — though he seems more addicted to Sports 🙂
