We were out for our first ride of the season this past weekend. It was cold (about 9°C) but not the coldest we have been out in. You will notice that my nose is FINALLY now fit to be out in public again, thanks to antibiotics and Eucerin!
We ride through the countryside, and even though some lakes were still frozen there were horses outside (with coats on). Farmers are starting work on their fields, and the little country cafés and plant nurseries are opening up for the spring. The cows are inside for a bit longer (usually until the end of April) but soon the countryside will be blooming. I cannot wait!
