This 1994 movie is my favourite of all time, without a doubt. I have watched it countless times and could watch it over and over again. I think anyone who enjoyed it will know which movie it is, and the wonderful ending.
I went to see it with someone and I really did not want to go. I am not much of a Stephen King fan, and the movie was so dark and depressing when it began. I wondered how I was going to manage to sit through the 142-minute run time. I remember wondering if I would be able to fall asleep during the movie, just to make the time go by.
….then suddenly it was over and I wanted to stand up and cheer. I wanted to watch it again, immediately. i fell in love with it and remain so, decades later.
It has been the number-one film on IMDb’s user poll since 2008.
