Leather balsam

I almost never moisturise or treat any of my leather in any way – ever. I moisturise myself a lot and I handle all my belongings often, so I guess they get the good stuff that way. I find my well-used items are supple and soft with a gorgeous patina. I am sure this is from being out in the fresh hair and handled so that natural oils moisturise them.

Sometimes though, some leather can feel dry. Even I, who hardly ever feel extra care is necessary, can see when leather dry and thirsty.

For the last few years, this has been my go-to product for conditioning my dry leather. It is applied with a sponge and it soaks right in. Interestingly, the balm smells like honey. It was recommended to me by my local cobbler years ago and this is my second tub. It is the best I have ever used, even better than Saphire. It also makes my hands feel wonderful!
